If your child is just beginning to multiply multi-digit problems without carrying, don’t make the mistake of giving her worksheets that have carrying. It will most likely throw your child for a loop and she will become upset.

Writing worksheets is a very important lesson in a student’s life. Worksheet writing is used by the teachers to make the students familiar with the writing scheme and help them to improve their writing skills which they would be requiring throughout their life. Another important point I keep in mind is that I never want this regular math review time to take up and hour of class time. I want it to be quick but effective. This is not instructional time, but time for the students to review material they have already learned.
